A Sad Day for America

To all of my Republican family and friends: How long can you continue to do this??

  1. *shakes head* You'd think this had gone on long enough. Apparently not.

  2. Sadly, they can do it forever, because in some twisted way, it makes them feel better than. ...and THAT my friend, is a self-perpetuating state. I'm better than you because...insert "I'm White", "I'm patriotic" "I'm christian" "I was born in the USA" and on and on.

  4. It will be interesting to see over the next year who gets whittled down in the massive list of Democrats running for president in 2020. Hope you are doing well Paula.

    1. Yes, it is a bunch of them. I have picked a couple of favorites already. I am doing as well as I can! How about you?

  5. Yes, Paula. It is a sad day in our country when folks just don't want to see the truth when it is staring them in the face. I was an elected Republican for twenty years; now I wouldn't even vote for one.

    1. Are you still Republican? I was until the G.W. Bush years and then I switched.

    2. I always voted for the best person IMO and never voted the party lines. But the Republicans running now all duck-walk to their master. Ugh!

    3. That is how I used to vote as well. But until the Republicans can redeem themselves they will never get another vote from me.

    1. No tornadoes here yet. We have had 12 inches of rain in the month of May so there is lots of water around. Bailey and I are good!

  8. They can't even admit to themselves that they placed their faith in this crazy administration. That forces them to keep making excuses, keep pretending it's all good, keep pretending that those who oppose the president are the ones causing all the problems. Scary times.

    1. It is scary times. Hopefully the Republicans will soon decide they can put their love for our country above their fear of Trump while we are still living under a democracy.

  9. I never voted a party line either! I'm so disgusted and disappointed in the government of this country, I wish we could can them all and start all over again! I wonder what the founding fathers of this country would think if they could see them now!

  10. Oh Paula, I wish I could answer that question...I fear we're going to hell in hand basket with him in our White House. When people refuse to believe facts, I really don't know what we do to fight them; but we sure need to figure it out. He's officially announcing his re-election run. All the legal minds say, he would be in jail if he weren't in the WH. Wow! Swing by for a visit, been ages, and sometimes we need a diversion.
