That's so neat to see photos of servicemen smiling! The cafe where we sometimes frequent has photos of servicemen all along their walls, all with stern, resolute expressions. Is/was that an expectation? I don't know, but I certainly enjoyed seeing these images!
Thankful for those who serve(d). I actually thanked a stranger for his service today. We were out sightseeing and where we were, this guy pointed out an owl that was up in a rafter of a building. We thanked him and then I saw his baseball cap depicting his service in Vietnam. I thanked him for his service (usually I'm really shy about doing things like this). He said thank you :)
Darian always goes up to these guys when he notices their hats or jackets. He always shakes their hands and tells them thank you. I am proud of him. And I am proud of you!
I love to hear what you might think. Leave me a comment. I guarantee though that I will delete your comment if you are just here to cause trouble. So tread lightly!
You're welcome

I will have to pay attention when I look at other pictures of servicemen. Thanks for pointing that out to me! Sometimes I am so non-observant!
