Oh my, I play this game with myself all the time - LOL! I go back and forth between so many... so... I'd want a VW, a BMW, an SUV of some brand - not a big one - just in between.... I know there are more that I want - but I'll stop now!
I dream about this all the time: my first car was a 1971 Monte Carlo - special edition model. I wanted to restore it but it got hit one week before I took it off the road and at the time I couldn't afford to have to body work done to fix it. I still mourn that car and if I could have any car, I would get a fully restored '71 Monte Carlo with a 350 4-barrel engine. I miss that car so much...and if I ever get the money to invest in a classic car, that would be it! Good question!
My favorite car of all time was a 1971 Buick Riviera. I loved that car. My ex got it when we divorced. And then he sold it for $100.00 a few weeks after our divorce. Idiot!
In my younger years, I would have said Porsche or something flashy like that, but since I rarely drive these days, I'm going to go with practical, economical. We are looking into perhaps a Nissan Rogue so I'm going to go with that :)
Funny ... we were just asked that question this morning in our daily line-up!
I don't keep up with models, but I've always coveted the Mercedes. There's just this aura surrounding them that says, "class." (I think, anyway.) True story: When I worked at the TV station in Florida, one of our AE's was having second thoughts about having traded his Mercedes for a newer-model Infiniti. I'll never forget Dennis saying, "I miss the valet attendants' showing a little more respect when I'd drive up." (Snotty, huh? LOL, like I'll ever have a chance to own one!)
I'm really not fussy when it comes to cars. It needs to be reliable and practical but I am now partial to a bit of comfort and AC. One thing I would want in a new car is SATNAV. Thankfully I've worked out how to use my phone for directions but a SATNAV would be useful at times.
I love to hear what you might think. Leave me a comment. I guarantee though that I will delete your comment if you are just here to cause trouble. So tread lightly!
My dream car is a Jaguar. However, I just purchased a Ford Fusion and I'm in love with it.
ReplyDeleteAh yes, a Jaguar would be a dream car for me too!

I'm practical too, Betty! Flashy doesn't impress me much anymore!
DeleteAm I limited as to what's actually possible? Because, if I have a true choice, I would love a car that runs on hydrogen and is fully self-driving.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, Liz!!

A Mercedes with a driver would be nice!!
DeleteA limo with a driver...
ReplyDeleteYES!!
DeleteI'm not a car nut. I have an Impala now that is very nice. I would rather take the money that I would spend on a new car and go on a vacation.
ReplyDeleteI am not even interested in using the money for travel. I would spend it on fixing things in my house!!
DeleteI've always wanted a pink cadillac. Course I will never have one. But it's always nice to dream.
ReplyDeleteA pink Cadillac would be a dream car for sure!
DeleteDodge Charger...RED! I had one about 1981...loved that car:)
ReplyDeleteWe all have a car that we used to love! And covet!!
