Thursday's Question-What Would you Wish For?

Do you ever sit around wishing? I wish I could have this? I wish I would have said that! I wish I could see _______ (fill in the blank)! We all do it, don't we. Now I am going to ask you the question for this week.

If you could have one wish, only one, and it was guaranteed to come true, what would you wish for? Dig deep!

OK. I wish it were May 13, 1983 once more ... and I knew then what I know now.

    1. Ha! Ha! That is a good one. I wish that too! Do you know what I was doing on May 13, 1983? Getting ready to graduate the next day from nursing school. Why is this day significant to you my friend!

  14. I'm not really much of a wisher, but if I could wish and know it would come true? Retirement security. My husband and I married late, and neither one of us had great jobs, so we are starting very late on saving for retirement. I don't think we'll ever be able to stop working.

    1. I'm not much of a wisher either, Red. My husband sure was! He loved to wish and dream. I hope retirement security for you too. I have found that I can make do with what I have.

  17. Years and years ago (when I was young) I decided that if a genie came out of a bottle and granted only one wish, I would respond, "I wish all my wishes would come true." ;-)

  18. Oh, that is a hard one. There is an old expression "be careful what you wish for". And another old expression "unintended consequences". I would wish for an end of hate. But then, what would the unintended consequence be?

  19. I'm reading blog posts that I missed before. It's now 2021 and I wish we could all make it safely through this pandemic.
