Here we are to the last day of the challenge. I have zigzagged across the world reading blogs and leaving comments. I didn't make it to as many blogs as I wanted. There were just too many this year!
I took you on a zigzag though some smidgen, snippets, and bits of my life. I hope you enjoyed your time here. It will be nice to get back to normal again. Blogging everyday is hard. I sometimes lay awake thinking of what I could use for certain letters. I didn't chose a theme this year. I didn't write all my post ahead of time. Some I wrote the night before it was time for that letter. But I made it!

That's a zigzag!! |
great job on the challenge
ReplyDeleteThank you Denise!
DeleteHi Paula - it'll be nice to have some zigs ans zags in life instead of ups and downs! Well done on finishing .. cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteThank you Hilary! I look forward to seeing you back next year!!
DeleteYou did very good, Paula, for "winging" it with the posts. That is hard to do plus visit blogs, etc. Good for you for finishing and I enjoyed all your posts you did! I do agree with what you said on my blog; it can be frustrating to visit other blogs and try to figure out how to comment or visit someone and then not get a visit back. I was following some blogs as part of my minion duties and would comment on them for many days in a row with no visits back. I found that interesting. I think to have a successful challenge is to follow the advice given by the A/Z team and one of them is to visit those who visit you, so makes you wonder.....
ReplyDeleteBut you did great! Congrats!
betty
Thanks Betty! It wasn't always easy. But I hate quitting so I challenged myself and made it all the way to the end!! Congratulations on your too! I very much enjoyed learning more about Arizona
DeleteI was also going to say earlier that I understand your frustration about blogs not participating after they had signed up or then hadn't posted in a few days, etc. One of our duties as minions was to report blogs that hadn't started the challenge after 4 days into it or hadn't posted in 4 days. I did see that they were removing blogs as they were reported but I also visited blogs that should have been removed, so not sure if someone was covering them or not. So some effort was being made to somewhat keep the list current but there were more than few that I'm sure slipped in that weren't handled the right way.
Deletebetty
I, too, noticed they were removing blogs all along. I think it would be a tough job. I can't imagine!!
DeleteI enjoyed reading your challenge. Maybe next year I'll participate again!
ReplyDeleteI hope you do Jeanette!
DeleteWhat a great ending to your month-long A-Z! You did it!
ReplyDeleteYes I did! Thanks for following along!
DeleteYou did it! And you did it well!! I really enjoyed reading your posts, as I always do. Love the quote: When nothing goes right, go left! Amen to that!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on completing the Challenge!
See you soon,
Michele at Angels Bark
Thank You Michele! I hope to see you soon!
DeleteSo many blogs, so little time. I agree... it was hard to get around to as many as I hoped. Maybe next year I will have most of my posts scheduled so I can spend more time each day visiting blogs.
ReplyDeleteI didn't visit nearly as many as I have in past years! People just don't seem to reciprocate!
DeleteGreat job! Yes so many blogs to visit and read this year. I enjoyed reading your posts.congrats on completeing the challenge. :) Have a wonderful evening. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Stacey!
DeleteCongratulations on completing!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kwiz. You should join this challenge sometime. I'll bet you could come up with a great theme!
DeleteYay, you!!!
ReplyDeleteI think your 'authentic voice' and down-to-earth-isms have lots to do with SS&B's appeal. So glad you didn't quit when the going got tough.
Now, pat yourself on the back and pour yourself a nice vodka tonic! :)))
No Vodka Tonic until this Whole 30 Challenge is over. Then I think I'll drink a bottle of it!!
DeleteCongratulations! Great job on the challenge.
ReplyDeleteThank you Lyndagrace!!
DeleteCheers my friend!!!
ReplyDeleteRight back at ya!!
DeleteGood job! I enjoying following along during your month! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you very much! I enjoyed having you!
DeleteGirl, would you believe I slept 14 hours last night! I was zigzagged out! We can mark another AtoZ down as done! Whoop! Whoop! I trust you posting means you survived the weather in your neck of the woods. Our pastor was at his camp last evening. This morning, the storm woke he and his wife up, and they got out of the bed and went to the kitchen of their camper. A few minutes later, a big tree fell right over their bedroom!

Yes, we survived the weather. Because none of it every materialized here in my neck of the woods. Good to sleep for 14 hours!!
DeleteCongratulations! You finished. I learned a lot about you in this challenge. First and foremost I saw a photo of you that proved you are not a 'scowler' all the time. So why the stern face on your blog? I also learned that you are a very loving and caring person - and not just because you are a nurse. I enjoyed this month, but now, like you, I need a rest from daily blogging.
ReplyDeleteWhat?? I don't think I look at all stern in that photo! LOL! But then what do I know. I don't look like that picture much anymore. Almost all the way grey now! Might be time for a new photo!!
DeleteCongratulations on completing the challenge!

Thank you much Scarlett!
DeleteGreat job with the challenge this year Paula.
ReplyDeleteThank you Wendy!
DeleteDid anybody actually visit all the blogs on the list? Yikes. I didn't even attempt to try. Five new blogs a day--that's about all I could handle.
ReplyDeleteI don't know of anyone who visited all the blogs. I couldn't even keep up with 5 new blogs a day!!
DeleteWell it was all great fun again - hanging on by the skin of our teeth at times but we made it - hip hip hooray and I've so enjoyed reading your posts, Paula :) May should be a little less frenetic, shouldn't it?
