3 Favorite Dr. Seuss Quotes

I love quotes! And I like to collect them. My favorite of all quotes has always been those by Dr. Seuss! Such a wise, wise man!! Here are three of my favorites:

  1. I always enjoyed Dr. Seuss :) Fun to read the books with the kids. I don't have any favorite quotes now that I think of it :)

  4. I'm just peeking into all the blogs I'm following, curious what everyone came up with for Q. There is quite a bit of variety out there.

    "Time is an illusion. Lunchtime doubly so." - Douglas Adams wrote that in Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy (spoken by Ford Prefect). It's not meant to be pithy, but I love it.

  6. Hi Paula ... I never knew of Dr Seuss - not having kids ... and being over here ... but these quotes are great ...

    I can't think of a quote - but something always catches my eye as I go round visiting ... cheers Hilary

    Officer Friendly had cut this quote from someplace and taped it to the inside of his day planner.

  8. I didn't realize the first was a Dr. Seuss quote. Great "Q"!

    There are soooo many great ones, I can't identify a favorite! How about, "Never say goodbye, because saying goodbye means going away and going away means forgetting." (Love that Peter Pan!)

  10. Dr Seuss actually came up in class today. The 7th graders were learning a bit about poetry. I said poems should be reread and more can be gleaned from them on repeated reading. Someone mentioned Dr Seuss. I agreed that was true of him as well.
