  2. Remember that show from years ago? Fear Factor? They would have to do weird things like this too. No amount of money indeed! I don't think I could even get one down me. Now if I was very hungry, like in the event of a catastrophic event that happened in the world and food was scarce, then maybe......

  3. I certainly wouldn't do it for money but yes if we were in such a desparate position that required eating them for survival I guess I might. But with my eyes closed and trying to imagine they were something else!

  5. Considering how easily I gag, I don't know if there is any amount of money that would make it worth it. Unless the were cooked and covered in chocolate. But probably not even then.

  6. I could eat them, if assured they have no intestinal tapeworms, as they often do "in the wild." I've always maintained that shrimp, which I love, are nothing more than ocean-going insects...my entomology classes at university were some of my favorites, and the professors often ate insects.

For my Christian friends, remember John the Baptist lived on locusts and wild honey, and the Old Testament mentions swarming flying insects that also jump as a clean food item - !

    1. I'd do it for a million bucks. Or at least I'd try hard. Maybe even for $20,000!

  8. I guess if I were hungry enough I would pay someone else so I could eat them.

  9. Not sure I could, to be honest, for any amount.
Perhaps billions of dollars. And if they were smothered in chocolate (the crickets, not the billions).

  10. no no - oh and no..... I was thinking the same thing as Jennifer - if they covered them in tons of chocolate - I might be able to do it! But even then, it would take a lot of money!! I'm getting the heebie jeebies just THINKING about it - less alone - DOING it - LOL!
