I like goals better than resolutions. I think of resolutions as wishes. And goals are more like how I can make those wishes come true!! I'm working on my goals for this year now!
I am hoping to be just the opposite! I have to have goals now in order to get on with this kid raising!! Then after they are all gone I want to just keep getting on!
I stopped doing resolutions years ago. I just take one day at a time and try to do my best with what's dealt me on that day. I tried the resolutions thing but I never seemed to be successful with them. Especially when it came to working out! :) Happy New Year Paula!
Same here Michele. I hate working out. I am going to do it in baby steps this year. Hopefully after I start with "clean eating" I might feel more like doing something
Since my goals all fit into catagories that I know will highlight my life now, I no longer feel that I am setting myself up for failure. And I break them down into little tiny baby steps. So that helps too. I will be up past midnight cause I have to pick up Harley and take Kat home at 12:30. Happy New Year!!
Love the rocks in your photo!! have some similar rocks in the bathroom. Mine are various colors, but with the same words. I see them every day and they are a reminder of important things. I used to make resolutions and I did fairly well with them. Them I changed to choosing an inspirational word to guide my year. But, this year, I have decided to choose an inspirational song to guide my year! Happy New Year!
I love to hear what you might think. Leave me a comment. I guarantee though that I will delete your comment if you are just here to cause trouble. So tread lightly!
I used to make resolutions, but now I pretty much just wing it :)

DeleteI'm making plans! Concrete plans! So I guess my resolution would be to "make plans."
ReplyDeletePlans is a good way of saying it too!!
DeleteI don't know what my goals are this year other than to get through each day as positively as I can.
ReplyDeleteAnd don't forget to breathe!!
DeleteI used to "set myself up for failure" regularly. :)
ReplyDeleteExpectations are so burdensome, don't-cha think? Today, I only hope to stay awake past 9.

ReplyDeleteI chose a word too! But I do make a few goals as well. It keeps me centered for the year (well at least the first few months LOL)
DeleteNope, no resolutions. I believe that when you are ready to make a change, you should make that change, whether it be November, August, or January.
ReplyDeleteI believe that as well Liz!
