Merry Christmas! Great pictures! When we lived in Montana, years ago a young boy had been killed in a bike accident. He loved luminaries. His family that year decorated their driveway with luminaries. Soon people in the surrounding houses took up the cause so to speak and did their driveway/walkways with luminaries. Soon the whole block did it and then the next few blocks over. We lived on one of the streets that did it; it was so much fun to make them and then light them and have them shine all night til the candles burned out in them. So pretty too. The city would turn off the street lights on those streets and so many would just drive through the neighborhoods enjoying them.
Merry Christmas Betty! This neighborhood has been doing luminaries for more than 30 years now and every year it spreads into more block. Soon it will cover quite a bit of that part of the city!!
I love to hear what you might think. Leave me a comment. I guarantee though that I will delete your comment if you are just here to cause trouble. So tread lightly!
