TRANSPORTATION

I love my car. And I am thankful to have it. I am thankful that it keeps on getting me around where I need to go. It is a 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora which we got in August 2000. It has 110,000 miles on it. And all those miles were put on it by us. It is a dark midnight blue. I hope it keeps getting me around. (Because who wants car payments, right?)

  1. I too love my van; 1999 Oldsmobile Silhouette, about 92,000 miles on it. Love it because, like yours, it still runs and no car payments!

    1. We used to trade every two years until this car. It was the last year they had Oldsmobiles and I was done with car payments. I hope this one lasts me a bit longer

  6. I'm starting to think car purchase in the next three or four years (I like to keep them for ten years or so).

  7. My car has 66K miles on it and girl... I am SO READY FOR IT TO DIE! I hate it! It's a 2010 Chrysler Town & Country and it's HORRIBLE! When it rains... and I turn right... the power steering just decides to go out... went to start it the other day... bam... dead battery.... 4th one.

  8. When my Jetta was totaled, Tom wanted 'more car' around me so I wound up with a '05 Camry. It's a real love/hate relationship:. 9 years later I still think it's too big and it goes through headlight bulbs like crazy ... but not having car payments is a huge plus!

    1. I like the size of my Oldsmobile. Not too small and yet not a huge car. I'm not sure what kind of car I would get if I need to buy a car

  9. 110,000 miles since 2000???? That is insane. I have that many on the 2006 Mustang. Crazy.
