Do you say Sunday is the end of the week or the beginning of the new week? I have always thought of it as the end of the week. Anyway, here we are on the first Sunday of Tina's #30summerdays on Carrots 'N' Cake. Today she asks us:
Time to relax before the start of the week. What does relaxing look like to you?
Now, that's what I'm talking about! Remember? Before caregiving? When Sundays were days for relaxing? Now it's just one more day to fix 3 meals, keep everything exactly in it's place, get dressed (no more jammies all day)... I was really good at Sundays! Great picture!
Sundays are the beginning of a new week on my calendar but the end of the weekend...because, not only do I have to go back to work on Monday, but I also don't get to spend the whole day with TheBoy & TheHubs & TheKats. :P Despite my caregiving status (I don't have it as bad as some) I still enjoy a day in my PJs, unless I have to do errands.
I don't know where to place Sunday. lol I think I simply view it as the end of the weekend right now. We haven't been going to church because we have been camping every weekend. When we do go to church I think I see Sunday as a beginning, a preparation for the Monday that is to come.
I love to hear what you might think. Leave me a comment. I guarantee though that I will delete your comment if you are just here to cause trouble. So tread lightly!
Cute .... suppose he's really able to fall asleep like that, on his back? Makes me smile!
ReplyDeleteHe sleeps in that chair every Saturday night so that I can go back and sleep in my bedroom. Richard's hospital bed is just off to his left.

Yes, Sundays are a lazy day for us usually. Unless it is a Papa shower day...and that's a lot of work
DeleteEnd of the week. Otherwise why did I always get that "Sunday afternoon time is running out before Monday work week" anxiety ?!?
ReplyDeleteCute picture. What about military men/women - they sleep anywhere, anytime they get a minute to spare!
He's a cop and he can sleep anywhere too!

ReplyDeleteThat is one way to think of it....It has always been the end of my week....Mondays are the beginning. Maybe why I hate Monday
