I have not been following along with the blogging challenge very well. I did not have a guest blogger. I didn't not look at the prompts ahead of time and just didn't set it up. As for sharing a project....my whole life is a project and I share with you all the time about it. The biggest project going on at our house right now is the exterior is being painted. The only way that I am participating is to write the check. And it has taken me almost two years to save for this project. Richard is better today. Not 'comatose' as he was all day Sunday. But much more dementia. And he talks non-stop. When you have Parkinson's disease your voice is very soft and speech somewhat garbled....so needless to say, he is driving me crazy! I haven't yet figured out why these 'comatose' episodes are always followed by these 'child-like' episodes. Or if I prefer one over the other.
But enjoy the picture of my orchid above. I got it for Mother's Day in 2013 and this is the first time it has bloomed...so yipee for that.
I can't seem to keep potted plants and flowers alive. Orchids are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteThankfully I have a green thumb!
DeleteThe way you are documenting your projects, especially your main one is remarkable.
ReplyDeleteI have 4 pots with scraggly orchids sitting on my bathroom window sill. They bloom when they feel like it I guess.
Right now two have made a half hearted attempt to blossom. They certainly don’t look the same as when I bought them. I refuse to give up on them though.
That is how I am with my plants. I just won't give up on them.
DeleteI missed the guest post, too, I didn't plan very well. Oh well.
ReplyDelete/we didn't miss out did we?
DeleteBeautiful Orchids. I have no houseplants because they die of neglect. The only reason anything lives outside at my house is because God waters them LOL.
ReplyDeleteMost of mine are quite neglected as well. I think that is why they survive.
DeleteWhat a pretty orchid plant! That challenge seems difficult in what it has those participating in doing. Not simple like the A/Z where we went by letters. I'm not sure I would have been able to keep up with the prompts for the day. Glad to hear your hubby is a bit better today as far as his alertness.

There have only been a couple of the prompts that I have found to be too difficult and time consuming to do. For the most part I enjoy them.
DeleteI didn't have a guest post either. Don't feel bad! I am glad your husband is a bit better today, but I can imagine the incessant talking is difficult for you. Hope your house will be done soon. It is always hard having workers at your house I think.
ReplyDeleteI will be glad when all settles down....whatever that mean!
DeleteThe last few days sound so tricky. I hope the new coat of paint on your home brings you joy!
ReplyDeleteI am already feeling the job of fresh paint! Thanks for stopping by
DeleteI didn't do the challenge either. Set it up, added the badge and wrote one post, lol. Just too much going on keeping the travel blog going almost daily, the charity blog going almost daily, to add the 3rd blog for the May challenge. So sorry you're experiencing so many emotional and physical challenges. Keep writing about it, I do think having an outlet will keep you going.

DeleteHey don't beat yourself up about some blogging things you didn't get to. I don't dare try an orchid - it wouldn't stand a chance! Glad yours bloomed.
ReplyDeleteOrchids are really easy. You should try one!
