The brainchild of Arlee Bird, at Tossing it Out, the A to Z Challenge is posting every day in April except Sundays (we get those off for good behavior.) And since there are 26 days, that matches the 26 letters of the alphabet. On April 1, blog about something that begins with the letter “A.” April 2 is “B,” April 3 is “C,” and so on. You can use a theme for the month or go random – just as long as it matches the letter of the alphabet for the day.
They recommend short posts, turn off Word Verification, and visit five blogs (or more) a day beginning with the one after yours on the list.
There is a list of categories so that you can follow blogs most like your own or make it easier to finds ones that you might be interested in. Mine is listed under PR for personal.
Come join in the fun! Just click on the button above and it will take you to the A To Z Blog to sign up.
I haven't done a blog post in two weeks, and you're planning April! You go girl!!!
ReplyDeleteI spent a lot of time on the computer. It keeps me sane! I have missed you Elena!
DeleteSounds like fun but I am going to be going on a dive trip in April. I may bring my computer but then again maybe not...of course I guess I could do my alphabet before I leave and have them post while I am gone. I'll have to think about this one.
ReplyDeleteI do mine ahead. I can't come up with something off the top of my head like that!
DeleteGlad you are on board for your second year! You'll have even more fun since it's your second time.
ReplyDeleteI had fun last year too! It just didn't quite meet up to my lofty expectations!
DeleteHmm, I saw you postin' about this back when we did Blog Everyday in May. I really liked what I saw and wanted to try it. I think this would be more of a challenge since there are not set topics. Just letters to follow. I'm gonna have to sign up for this. Thanks for postin' this cause I had forgotten and would have been bummed.
ReplyDeleteHopin' all is well and y'all are stayin' warm.
Glad you dropped by Aleshea! It is really cold here in Kansas. I can't wait to see what you come up with for A To Z. I have already picked my topic but I won't reveal until late March.
DeleteI did A to Z in 2011 and 2012. Of course, 2011 was the year from h*ll for me and I didn't finish on time ... but I did finish by mid May. In 2012 I was ready. I had created most of the posts in advance and they were scheduled for publishing so I didn't need to worry if I hit a personal life snag. And by doing that I was able to visit mostly during April rather than worrying about what I would write the next day. It was a fun event. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYou should do it again this year!
DeleteApril is my busy month. Maybe I should try anyway. Maybe it should be how busy my month is...haha.
ReplyDeleteYou should do an A To Z on why you are too busy to do an A To Z. That would be a hoot
