There is Always

Yes, there always is!
Sometimes I spend so much time whining about how I wish that life was different.
Was better.
Was different.
That I forget to be thankful for what I have.
It could be so much worse.
So we don't have to look long or hard.
We don't have to look far or wide.
It is right here in front of us.
Be thankful for today!

Today is day 5.

  1. Amen Paula. I am thankful that we can share our journey together. It has helped knowing that others struggle with this disease as much as I do. Perhaps there is truth in the saying "Misery loves Company" but I would rather believe that we find strength and support from each other.

    1. I am thankful to have found your blog. Although we don't share the same 'disease' we share the same problems. Parkinson's dementia is a Lewy Body dementia and much like Alzheimer's. It has helped me so much to read what you go through with your mom.

  2. I could not agree more!!! perhaps you would like to participate in this years 5th annual Gratitude (word) Quilt? Instructions are at the top of my blog… so pleased to meet you… visiting via mimi's peace day.

    1. Thank you for your visit Laura. I will go check out the quilt!

  3. You are very right. No matter how bad things are, the situation can only get better. :)

    1. Only when you are finally at the bottom :) No, I agree with you! There is always something worse than what you are going through

I love to hear what you might think. Leave me a comment. I guarantee though that I will delete your comment if you are just here to cause trouble. So tread lightly!
