Let's Decorate

This is day 3 of My 30 Days of Thanksgiving Challenge. Still time for you to join if you would like. If you want a list of all of my posts, click here.

Do you decorate your house for Thanksgiving? I like to decorate the mantle. Usually I put up a banner and some fall type things. This year I am just doing it once and it will be for 'fall'. Then everything comes down and up goes Christmas. But I don't decorate for Christmas until Thanksgiving is over. I don't like it when Thanksgiving gets skipped over and we rush right into Christmas. Do You?

This would be so simple to make. And string them all the way down the center of your dining table.

I made this banner for my mantle one year. You can download the template here

I want to make these leaves to string across my windows. Aren't they gorgeous?

This would be very simple to do. The internet is filled with things that can be printed and framed.

I plan to print the one below and put into a frame in my entryway.
Go here if you would like one too.

I would love to hear, or see, your decorating ideas.

  1. Great ideas Paula. I love decorating for each season and holiday and I also refuse to decorate for Christmas until after Thanksgiving. I love that saying that you are going to frame. True Words!!

    1. It is fun to decorate isn't it. My boys always loved it when they were growing up. And now we have the grands with us. I don't do as much as I used to though

  2. I love those candle holders! Unpopped popcorn is cheap, I could use some stuff that I already have...hmmm, now you have me thinking. I love those leaves. I need to pull out my fall tablecloth and stuff. I agree, no decorations for Christmas until Thanksgiving is over! I hate that Thanksgiving gets skipped over a lot.
