He was popular, I didn't really care for his music all that much, but loved those old tv shows the beach ones, soooooooooo lame now. lol Oozing Out My Ears
I loved all of his music. Still do! And we never missed a movie, but I watch them now and think "man he could NOT act" But he was so handsome, who cared!
Okay.... I totally have ALWAYS loved Elvis, but I never had a poster on my wall.... he was kinda gross in the 70s when I was a girl... and died when I was only 4 so... I wouldn't have liked him in his later years... but totally drool worthy in the younger ones. MROW! I had that whole jailhouse rock dance memorized!
Elvis GROSS!! Never...yep he did get a bit fat but by that time I was married with kids and didn't find FAT gross but you as a kid would have. And 4! when he died. I was actually on vacation in California when he died and it is one of those moments I will always remember where I was when it happened...like JFK being shot and the moon launch. Now I have really dated myself, huh?
He and I share a birthday. He also died on my dad's birthday. We are a pretty obsessed Elvis house. We used to have a bearded dragon named Elvis. My daughter even likes Elvis.
I love to hear what you might think. Leave me a comment. I guarantee though that I will delete your comment if you are just here to cause trouble. So tread lightly!
