My April Daybook

I cannot believe that we are already half-way through April. Here is my April Daybook entry.

Outside my window...

Today is beautiful. The sun is shining and it is 68*

I am thinking...

I am thinking how nice it will be when I can wheel Richard out into the yard for some fresh air and sun!

I am thankful...

I am thankful for  everyday that God allows us to have my husband here with us.

In the kitchen... 

In the kitchen, tonight we are having pork chops. And I have my menu ready for the week.

I am wearing...

I am wearing t-shirt and shorts. Yep, summer is coming.

I am creating...

There isn't really much creating going on right now in this house.

I am going...

I am going to work on a plan for some spring house cleaning that will still allow me to keep a frequent eye out on the man in the recliner.

I am wondering...

I am wondering....oh how I am wondering.

I am reading...

I am reading a light-hearted mystery on my Nook Color.

I am hoping...

I am hoping this nice weather is here to stay. There are dark clouds starting to gather.

I am looking forward to...

I am looking forward to summer. Can you tell?

I am learning..

I am learning that it is much harder to do home health care than one thinks it would be. Especially when the patient is your husband.

Around the house...

Around the house so much has been neglected. I hope to start taking care of things soon. I am going to have to teach myself a lot about home maintenance since I was too stubborn to learn when my husband wanted to teach me.

I like that word..pondering..and that is exactly what I am doing here...pondering

One of my favorite things is quiet Sundays before we kick into busy weeks.

Monday: Darian has Scouts and Harley a track meet
Tuesday: Darian has wrestling practice
Wednesday: church for the kids
Thursday: Darian has wrestling practice
Friday :Justin and Paige will be here
Darian will be camping out over the weekend.                                                                                               
                                                                                                     

A peek into my day...

I turned 62 this week. Yipee. I now qualify for Social Security and I have applied. This is the birthday I have been looking forward to for the past 5 years. Things haven't quite turned out as I planned. But, hey, I am alive and I am healthy. That is worth something!
