This is Where I am Happiest

Where am I happiest?

This is where I am happiest.
At my home.
My comfortable little home here in the great state of Kansas.
(no I don't own any ruby red slippers)
I don't much like all the snow that is on the ground in the above picture, but I can't think of anywhere else I would rather be.
I like being at home.
I like having my family at home.
I like knowing where everyone is and I am happiest when they are here with me.

I want to see where others are happiest.
Shall we hop on over to Tiffany's and see what people are saying?

  1. I am also happiest at home with my family. It's nice to meet you Paula, and I look forward to seeing you at A to Z. You're a real trooper going from one month long blog challenge to another!

  2. I love this picture of your home quietly tucked in with snow all around. It just looks like a safe, happy place. I've always thought having a roaring fire inside a snuggly home, with snow all around, would be just beautiful! Now following and looking forward to reading more, especially about your angel baby, as I have 2 of my own.Hope you have a blessed Monday!

    1. Thank you Grace. My angel baby was stillborn on October 14, 1974 after a full term pregnancy. Tell me about yours!

  3. Wow! I din't know it snowed that much in Kansas! I love home, too. I'm not sure where I'm happiest now. I'm actually far from my original home. I'm happy when I go home, but my little family and I live in Ohio now. I love my home b/c my hubby has created it and we are hopefully filling it with good memories and love! Thanks for stopping by. Looking forward to the A to Z challenge with you!

    1. We don't get nearly the snows that we used to. This year was an unusual year for snowfall in Kansas.

  6. I think you need a personalized front door mat that has ruby red slippers painted on it and says "there's no place like home" (I found one for $15 on ebay! YOU NEED IT!!! :) GET IT!

  7. There really is "no place like home". I also am very happy at home. Sometimes too happy at home and I don't want to go anywhere. I like putting on my pj's and popping in a movie. Your home looks peaceful. It's a very nice home too, and it's filled with love.
