Reading a Book all the Way to The End!

I am doing pretty good with this challenge. I give credit to Tiffany over at Fabulous Finds by Tiffany for her great prompts. So if you are interested in the March  Blog Challenge go on over and check her out.

Today's prompt is to write about the last book that you read. I read a lot. And lately, the more mindless the book is the better a chance is that I will read it. I always finish whatever book I start. I have struggled through some of the worst books ever just because I CAN'T not finish something that I have started. I have tried telling myself that is a ridiculous waste of time, but it doesn't change anything.

I have a Nook Color that my son purchased me for Christmas a couple of years ago. I love it! And there are so many books that are free that I have yet to buy a book (except for a travel book when were planning our trip to Disney World). So most of the books I have been reading are not the latest books out there. And most of them aren't written by well known authors. But, hey, they are FREE.

This Book, Color Me Grey, was a strange book about a girl who was bored with her office job and she found a strange ad in the newspaper that she answered. It landed her a job where no one ever told her what it was she was hired for. And she didn't question that. (yeah, right)
Anyhow, she goes through some bizarre training process and in the end has to save her father from some kidnappers. It is the first book in a series. Pretty sure that I won't search out the rest of them. Just wasn't that great of a read.

But I like to read. So I will probably read more bad books. And I am sure there will be some good books also. In fact, I am getting ready right now to settle down for the night and open my Nook Color. Happy Reading.

Let's go find out what books the others are reading. Check here

  2. I like reading mindless books. I deal with enough real life drama, I want to escape in books. I am also enjoying the blog prompts.

    1. Yes, especially if you keep waiting all throughout the book for the plot to get better
