My best Childhood Memory

What is my best childhood memory?
I think I  have to say that it was the day
my baby brother was born.
My mom was at the hospital and my dad took the rest of us kids
in the old Ford Model A and parked us in the parking lot while
he went up to see mom.

She came to the window and looked down and waved at us as we waited in the car. At least that is how the story goes. I was only a bit over 2 years old so I am not really sure how much of that memory comes from my brains.

And here we were six weeks later!
That little girl on the right with her mouth open is me!

    1. This is the one of the only pictures we have of my brother when he was a baby. We just didn't take pictures that much way back then. Thanks for stopping by

  3. That's so cool. Great photo. It's so funny that they use to not allow small children in to see the newborns. It was even like that when I was born. My mom had to hold me up in the hospital window so my older sister could see me from the curb.

  4. Thanks Tiffany. Yes it was crazy back then. They didn't let dads in the delivery room either. And no one could be in the room when mom was with the baby. Not even the father!

  7. Love the photo. All the kids just standing so casually, and the baby screaming away. And that car is very cool.
