Today's prompt in the 31 day Blogging Challenge is "What do you do when you are home alone?" I laughed out loud when I read this. And then inside I cried a bit. Because, you see, I am NEVER home alone. Do I want to be? Maybe. What would I do if I were home alone? I probably wouldn't do anything much different that what I do now. Except, if I were alone, I wouldn't have to stop typing and take care of my beloved husband. If I were alone, I wouldn't have to get up off the couch to adjust his blankets, give him a drink, or help him up to the bathroom. If I were alone, I could hold the remote control in my own hands and turn the TV to the channel that I want to see.
There will be plenty of time for me to figure out what I am going to do if I am ever HOME ALONE.
In the meantime I am anxious to see what other women do when they are home alone...let's go see here

Awww!! You rock! I hope you get some me time because it sounds like you are taking care of everything and everyone! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is what I do! Thanks for visiting
DeleteGood philosophy about your alone time--you'll know what to do with it when you get it.
ReplyDeleteThat is how I have to look at it right now
DeleteUs caregivers are so not good at taking alone time....it took me years to figure out that I had a right to time alone. I know you're in a tough place right now, but a "you" day will come...take care, Paula xo
ReplyDeleteIt is hard, Lisa. I hope that I figure it out soon.
