The Simple Woman's Daybook

FOR TODAY April 20, 2009...

Outside my window...
Outside my window today the sun is shining, there is a slight breeze. It is 62F. Oh how I hope this means that spring is here.....

I am thinking...
I am thinking how glad I am that this is the last of my four day working weekend.

I am thankful for...
I am thankful for the sunshine. Who wouldn't be?

From the kitchen...
Nothing going on for me in the kitchen. Hubby will cook tonight for the kids while I am at work.

I am wearing...
I am wearing my scrubs. Today the purple top with lots of yellow butterflies.

I am creating...
I am creating a plan to paint cobblestones on my patio. I need to look for a stencil and decide if I want greys or browns.

I am going...
I am going to work soon.....that is what I do on Mondays.

I am reading...
I will be starting the 3rd in the series of Jessee Stone novels. This one is
"Death in Par
adise"

I am hoping...
I am hoping this wonderful weather holds out.

I am hearing...
I am hearing All my Children in the background.

Around the house...
Around the house there is lots to do. I must make another list.

One of my favorite things...
One of my favorite things is the warm weather and the sunshine. I need it! I thrive on it.

A few plans for the rest of the week:
This week I work on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. No other plans so far.

Here is picture thought I am sharing...
A beautiful sunrise....somewhere!

  1. You must be eager to have some time to yourself once your day is done...do you work all night on a 12-hour shift or does your workplace still provide 8-hr days?

I'll join you in hoping that the good weather stays. It's been so pleasant here.
