Peanut Butter Snack Mix

3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons peanut butter
4 cups Chex cereal (assorted wheat and corn)
2 cups mini pretzels
1/3 cup dry-roasted peanuts
Preheat over to 175F
Combine honey, butter and peanut butter in a microwave safe bowl. Heat until smooth. Combine cereal, pretzels and peanuts in a large bowl. Pour peanut butter mixture over cereal mixtures and toss to coat. Spread on baking sheet and bake 1 1/2 hours. Makes 6 cups
Per 3/4 cup serving; 270 calories. 11 g fat, 10 mg chol, 7 g prot, 40g carbs, 4 g fiber 530 g sodium
This has heart-healthy monounsaturated fats in the peanuts and peanut butter, and fiber in the cereal which makes this a more nutritious snack. I made some this week and it was delicious. My granddaughter loves it!
