Brilliant Bathroom Ideas

We all love brilliant ideas. This time we are going to talk about a couple of ideas for the bathroom. I have used all three of these ideas in my bathroom.
Or in the linen closet next to the bathroom.

I use one of these in my bathroom to store 3 rolls
of toilet paper. It sits on the floor next to the tub
A magazine holder can sit in the linen closet
or below the sink to hold the extra toilet
paper

These Oil/Vinegar bottles are cheap
I have one in my kitchen for dish soap
and one in the bathroom for mouth wash.
Purchased at World Market

  1. We just have the whole bottle of mouthwash sitting in a wire basket on the counter in the bathroom ! I have a cabinet next to the toilet where the TP is stored in its plastic wrapper:)

  2. I used one of those bottles for dish soap, but had issues with it. It kept getting gummed up.

    1. I have to rinse my spout several times a month to keep it flowing!

  3. Interesting use of the bottles. I wouldn't have thought of that. We have the toilet roll dispenser similar to the one in your first picture in hubby's bathroom. It is a convenient way to keep toilet paper handy :) Of course I have to remember when I'm cleaning the bathrooms and refilling it, to take the toilet paper already on it off and add the new toilet paper roll to the bottom because I was informed by hubby that toilet paper can pick up "bugs" if stored too long without using it. Not sure.....but its not something worth fighting over :)

    1. Hmmm I've never heard of bugs in toilet paper. But ours doesn't last that long around here.

  6. Very good bathroom ideas. I have a few magazine holders, but I think mine are narrower that the one in the photo. Makes me want to have another look at it. The bottle for the mouth wash is a good idea. I'm guessing it controls the pour rate too, right? Very pretty. You know me...I'm the one with rabbit feeders to hold the bathroom and kitchen sink stuff. 8-)

    1. Maybe there is a way to put two together! It doesn't really control the pour rate that well. You have to still pay attention (as in kids) I remember your rabbit feeders! Darling!!

  7. The bottles look good but I think our magazine holders would be too narrow for the toilet rolls too.

    1. I haven't checked to see if the magazine holders come in sizes. I guess one could make their own!

  8. "My" bathroom counter space is non-existent!
... But I love the idea of using bottles w/ food coloring in them in the larger (master) bath.

PS - Doesn't the humidity from showers 'wilt' the extra, exposed TP rolls?

    1. I am lucky to have two large vanities in my bathroom. Well, lucky if you want to fill them up with dust-collecting stuff. And as to humidity wilting the toilet paper...the bathroom where I use that does not have a shower. And no one takes a bath in there either. So humidity isn't a problem.
