The Ramblings of a Former Caregiver
my husband, my great nephew, and my dad.
Good answers Denise!
Oh my gosh, this is SOOOOOO hard!!! I have 5 I would want to see; I'm not sure I can narrow it down to three. Okay, I can eliminate it to four, but not sure I can get it down to three. If push came to shove I would go with son, daughter in law and grandson. Hubby would have been in the top four, but since he and me are older, chances are one of us will be dying within the next 10-15 years so that's why I eliminated him. The top five also included daughter in law's daughter. Love her, but I would move her out of the equation to concentrate of son, daughter in law and grandson. This is a hard question. I think I would be the one that would want to go first.betty
I think you reasoned that out very well, Betty!! Do you have a baby yet??
Couldn't possibly choose and luckily don't have to but your question made me appreciate the many family members and friends I have, Paula :) Special Teaching at Pempi’s Palace
But, what if you didn't have a choice??
No, no, no - too much like Sophie's Choice - what a terrible dilemma!!
I will have to Google Sophie's Choice!
My husband, son, and my mother. I hope you have a wonderful day
Sounds like good choices, Stacey!
My son, my husband, and I do count her as a person equivalent, so, my dog Sophie.Paula, how in the world will you choose just three???
I don't think you could choses just three. But it makes you think doesn't it??
What an impossible question. I have three children, who all have lovely partners and a husband. There is no way I could reach a decision on this one.
What if we weren't given a choice? (I know, I know, it would be impossible for me too!)
Then I would just choose hubby.
That would be fair, Wendy!
No doubt about it, my son and older granddaughter. Then, I'm thinking I should say, Tom ... but Betty's reasoning got in my head. I love g'daughter #2, but she's difficult to like. OK, that's it. I'm picking Grace Evelyn, my little denture craving canine!
You always are so honest that you make me laugh! No need to say Tom! You have to save that denture eater though
Oh my....how do I answer this??? Frank for sure....the other 2 can I lump them together and say family and friends??
It's hard, isn't it?
oh wow - this is so hard.... three that popped into my mind right off are 'my sister'; my best friend Barb (who is also my former sister-in-law) - and her daughter, my niece Sara.... but I don't want to make this choice as it leaves out so many others!!Linda in VA
That is why questions like these make us ponder!!
My granddaughter, my dear mother . . . and a wealthy chauffeur. I'm sick of driving this winter. And the chauffeur needs to be wealthy because I can't afford one. I just want to be spoiled. My first answer was really Me, Myself, and I, but I realized it may sound rather rude instead of playful. :-)
Very good answer Gram. I would have laughed at me, myself, and I!
This would be an easier question if I had a significant other. Maybe someday...
I hear that!!
My parents and my brother: family is everything! And it has been amazingly clear recently how true that is with my mom's recent heart surgery and my dad aging and going from being my big strong dad to a man who is so weak he can't stand without the aid of a walker. I wish everyone was healthy and young again. I wish we could all go back about 40 years!Michele at Angels Bark
I don't know if I want to go back 40 years. I think there are parts of those years that I don't want to live through again! I wish you well with your mom and dad!!
My husband, my daughter and Chance:)
I love to hear what you might think. Leave me a comment. I guarantee though that I will delete your comment if you are just here to cause trouble. So tread lightly!
