  2. Do vacations count as a material thing? I LOVE vacations...we have a rule in my house that Frank is never allowed to buy me a piece of jewelry that costs more than a weekend trip would cost....I want the trip instead.

  4. Tough is right! Lately, I'm sooooo done with home ownership! I'd have to say a nice trust fund ....whose proceeds would allow me to retire and travel at our leisure.

  6. Vision for my husband. Over the last 10 years he has been losing his sight. Condition has no cure. After watching my mother give up and give up and give up all the enjoyments of lift due to age and dementia, I now get to watch my husband give up all the sighted hobbies he has valued for a life time. It breaks my heart. He is now legally blind and uses a cane and outside our home he is very disabled. So sight! Crap, I would give him one of my eyes if that would fix him.

    1. That would be awesome Elaine. Does he qualify for a transplant of any kind??

    2. No. No transplant options now. Retinitis Pigmentosa - or Tunnal Vision - only help may be stem cells years from now. Today? Nothing.

  13. I couldn't think of anything to ask for yesterday because I am generally content with life even as hard as it can be sometimes. But today . . . I would ask for enough money to pay for my cousin's medical bill for a lab test that isn't covered by her insurance. The bill will be in the thousands. She is my "long lost cousin" and I found her after . . . 60 years. She didn't know she had cousins from my side of the family, but I always knew about her. I feel kind of protective, though we are less s than a year apart in age.

    1. The only think I would like to have right now is hardwood floors all the way throughout my house. But, way too expensive. I can't even afford the laminate or I would get those! Paying for your cousins medical bills would be so generous of you. I, too, am pretty content with what I already have. It is tight with raising two teens, but we manage. And I still manage to help others when I can!
