The Ramblings of a Former Caregiver
No, I don't think so, Paula. I'm sure not a theologian, but (I think) faith is something you feel and religion is something you do.
A perfect example!!
I don't think they're the same.
Me neither, Kwiz!!
Not at all. I'm not religious, but I have great faith....in a lot of different things. Faith that people are inherently good, no matter what the news says; Faith that Joe loves me. Faith that someday, I'll see my daughter. Faith in myself.
I have faith in all those thins too. For you! I'm not quite sure about the people being inherently good though. My best friend here believes that as well. I am a bit for skeptic! But I have lots of faith!!
No. I don't do religion. But I have faith.
Oh heck no! I don't believe they are the same. They are very different, but not mutually exclusive.
Very different, for sure!
No faith is the belief in what you know is true. Religion is my way of honoring my faith.
That is right!!
Not the same, faith is belief in something or someone, religion is practicing that faith.Betty
Thank you Betty!
I love to hear what you might think. Leave me a comment. I guarantee though that I will delete your comment if you are just here to cause trouble. So tread lightly!
