Throwback Thursday

1976
Oh the memories that Throwback Thursday can bring to us. This is a picture of Danny and Justin in 1976. Danny was 5 and Justin not quite yet 1. Danny is wearing his dad's hat...he was a correctional officer at our local prison. Justin looks like he just want to get his hands on that hat. Get a load of that sofa. Wasn't it colorful. That was part of my first living room set. I had a Spanish theme going on. Don't you love that bullfighting picture on the wall? Wonder what became of that. .....

  1. Cute pictures of your boys, Paula! LOL with the bull fighting picture; I don't think I ever saw something like that in my looking at pictures to grace our walls :) So fun indeed to look at old pictures.

  2. That furniture was very stylish in 1976. I would have been a month away from delivering my son, Chuck.

    1. Stylish it was!! Was Chuck your first? I was very young when I gave birth to Danny. I had just turned 20!

  3. I wasn't born yet, but love varying colors in a room. Most of that "modern stuff" with minimalist lines and different hues of black and white are simply sad. I like sterility in a hospital. Homes should have... life!

    1. I agree with you Jennifer. I must be much older than you if you were not yet born in 1976!

  4. Your house was probably the best one on the block with all the current design. The 70's were a fun mix of everything. The kids looked like they were enjoying the times too :)

  5. Danny looks pretty tall for 5 y/o! That's so cute ... especially how you've caught Justin wanting to get in on the action. :)
Ya ... I remember that decor (and paneling); thought we were stylin!
