Next on the list....

Today should be an easy post. I am currently reading "Gone Girl" by Gillian Flynn. I must say it is a roller coaster read. Today our prompt from the Blog Every Day in May Challenge is:

Share a book that you’d like to read, but haven’t yet.  What draws you to it?

This book was recommended by my friend Allison over at What if this is as Good as it Gets?
She reads a lot! And I mean, a lot!
So this will be my next read

Now let's all link up with
and see what everyone else is wanting to read.
What is one your list?

  1. I loved Silver Linings Playbook by Matthew Quick and the teen novel Boy 21 was pretty good also. A coworker enjoyed Leonard Peacock, but I haven't read it yet. I will have to move it up on my list now!

    1. I read on my Nook Color. But anymore it takes me forever to finish a book. I read at night and it puts me to sleep usually. I am almost done with Gone Girl.

  6. Your mention of a 'roller-coaster' read has me intrigued! From practically defining the term, 'book-worm' most of my life, I can't believe it's been a year since I finished a book. Since reading's always brought me such pleasure, I'm determined to get back in the habit.

  7. I liked Gone Girl. The premise was interesting.
I just started reading The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt. Even though I am only a couple of chapters into it, I like it already.
Lately, I have been getting downloadable audio books. This way I can knit, or walk and listen to a book. Recently, though, I have also been purchasing the Kindle version of the same book. So if I want to read for a while instead of listen, I can do that. Audible.com has an option now were the audible version will sync with the kindle version. So if I am reading and get to a certain point, and then the next time I decide I want to listen instead, the audible version will sync to the point that I left off on the Kindle version. And vice versa.

    1. I tried audio books a couple of times. But I kept falling asleep and 'losing my place'.
